2. Definitions

  • “Client”, “you”, or “your” refers to the individual or entity purchasing services from us.

  • “Party” or “Parties” refers to both the Client and the Company, or either one as applicable.

3. Refunds in the Event of Inconclusive Outcomes
Due to the unpredictable nature of private investigations, a lack of findings does not imply a lack of effort or professionalism. As such, refunds are not issued simply because conclusive results were not achieved.

However, in rare instances where the investigation could not be meaningfully pursued – for example, due to uncontrollable external circumstances (e.g., safety concerns, legal restrictions, or insufficient actionable information) – we may, at our discretion, offer a partial refund of up to 30% of the total fees paid.

4. Conditions for Refund Eligibility
Our services are charged for the time, expertise, and operational costs involved, not for guaranteed results. Refund eligibility is limited and subject to the following conditions:

The investigation was not carried out in any substantive form (e.g., no surveillance was conducted, no data were retrieved, and no activities were recorded).

The refund request is made within 30 days of receiving the final report or written update, or within 90 days of payment, whichever is earlier.

The Company acknowledges that the investigation was substantially constrained and agrees that a partial refund is justified.

Refunds will be returned to the original payment method, where feasible. If that is not possible, an alternative method, such as a bank transfer, will be arranged.

5. Non-Refundable Situations
Payments are non-refundable in the following circumstances (non-exhaustive):

  • If the Client cancels the service at any point, for any reason.
  • If the Client ceases communication or fails to provide essential details promptly, it prevents the Company from proceeding with the investigation.
  • If the service has been delivered as outlined in the agreement.

6. Refunds to Credit or Debit Cards
If a refund is approved, it will typically appear on the Client’s payment card within 7 working days. Please note that processing times may vary depending on your card provider and our payment processor.

7. Policy Updates
Wolf Group reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time and without prior notice. Changes take effect immediately upon publication on our website, unless otherwise stated.
